I have this obsession with abandoned farm houses

I am not positive why, but I get this really amazing feeling whenever I go to an abandoned place. I like to think of how things were once set up, who used to live there and how it got to the state it is now.
Recently friends took me to a beautiful old home with a barn and workshop off of highway 28, it was once loved. Apparently the previous owners had the home in their family for generations and once they both died the land and its contents were auctioned off.  It is obvious that the home has been vacant for a long time. I am not sure who bought the house, but I have high hopes that they plan to restore it.

Back-yarding

A couple of oldies

These ones fell behind my fridge, whoopsy.

I did some scanning today...

It's amazing how long time can go by and I am able to put off the simplest of tasks! Oh well, I have done it now and have lots of Polaroids to share!

These pictures were all from Easter, I love that the expired film can be so surprising at times!

INSF

I was four dollars short on an automatic payment that the gym removes on a monthly basis. This four dollars led to a 40 dollar bank fee and then an added ten dollars to what I normally pay a month. I'm bitter, lesson learned I suppose.

Party bunnies love long weekends!

I have some new Polaroids I have yet to upload. Soon...

A long weekend awaits!

I am so anxious for three days off in a row. My only plans are to get my gardening done and hit up the farmers market, perhaps a couple ciders in the backyard. So excited. Hopefully it isn't raining the whole time! I just need one nice day, because then I can bring the Polaroid reporter out as well.
I have been spending my evenings lately loom knitting leg warmers, I am not good with actual needles I shake too much, loom knitting is a breeze. I have also been reading this amazing book called The Hunger Games it is the first in a trilogy and I haven't been able to put it down. It is nice to finally be able to read a book for pleasure and not school. I'm buying the second book tomorrow.
Speaking of reading I have been contemplating putting together a book club. Basically an excuse for people together have a few drinks and talk about books. I just need to get on the organizing part of it.

Ready for some spring?

I'm just ready to get my gardening on, I miss playing in the dirt.
I do understand that it's March, there could be more snow. I found this winter to be quite tame actually, canceling school the night before because of a predicted storm? Seems a little ridiculous...

Cameras

I have been working with two different cameras recently: The Polaroid Reporter and Impulse AF,  this means I have been working with both 669 and 600 film. This blog will mainly serve as a place for me to share the pictures I have taken so far, and allow me to share various thoughts.
